Rachel Gibbons is a professional portrait, fashion, and adventure photographer located in Northern Arizona.

Her passion for photography began as a young girl. She always insisted on her parents buying her at least two disposable film cameras for any family vacation or summer camp. During high school, her parents promised to buy her her first DSLR if she got into photography class--she held them to that promise. She went on to take every photo class available in high school as well as join the yearbook staff and provide senior photos for her classmates. As her love for photography grew, she decided to pursue a professional degree in the field. She obtained a B.S. in Communication Photography at Northern Arizona University where she met some of her most influential peers and teachers, while simultaneously falling in love with the town of Flagstaff, Arizona.

After graduating from NAU, she went from Intern to Lead Photographer at Black & Birch Apparel. Rachel also worked as the Social Media and Marketing Specialist/Lead Photographer for Flagstaff Extreme and Mountain Man--she photographed their events and managed their social media accounts. Rachel is currently working as a photographer for the local Flagstaff paper, the Arizona Daily Sun.

Rachel is an outdoorsman and has never been content working jobs that keep her indoors. From playing in the mud and climbing trees as a child, horseback riding and cheerleading as a teen, to hiking, rock climbing, and cycling as an adult, Rachel is constantly exploring new ways to get outside and stay active.
